Really??It is. Thought its a bit more on a warm side rather than neutral.
My experience has shown that it's on the brighter side, slightly.
But that was my ear.

V30 is a bit warmer.
LG's entire V range features dedicated DAC chips, doesn't it?

It depends from what you're coming or compare with.
Against Xperia 1 iii, Mojo and R28, the V30 is brighter, obviously.
It shares the same sound like BTR5, imo.
Like most Ess based Dacs I've heard.

Yes, I imagined it was one of those made by ESS. It's quite cool that smartphones can accommodate a separate DAC. Many motherboards for stationary PCs feature quite elaborate audio cards too.

Please help me on V40 on LDAC issues on Android 10. I'm using a pair of Technics AZ60, regularly connected in LDAC mode under app settings and bluetooth settings. The LDAC spot appears on connceting the iem and in Technics app.
I may use the telephone part but the music is completely mute on native app, tidal and uapp
I've tested a Qudelix 5k in LDAC mode too and it worked but with some random playback freeze on high bitrate.

This sounds like a proper LG movement/cult
Thanks for that group's name btw.

I have no idea honestly, but xDSD Gryphon is a very different device that's focused on music playback alone and beefier as far as output power goes. Still, a comparison of xDSD Gryphon to that LG smartphone would be interesting
