Impedeance isn't an absolute number when it comes to speakers/headphones, but varies depending upon what is being sent to them.

My V40 even consistantly puts the Massdrop HE-4xx in high-impedance mode--and they are only 30ohms. Certainly not complaining...

Ran across this interesting article specific to the "added" V40 sound options I though you guy may like...

Does anyone actually owns the V409N?
Does it have FM radio? Blooatware?
Thank you !

I own a US unlocked version of the V40 and it does have FM radio. It has 15 or so LG apps some that duplicate google apps, like a calendar, music player, etc. and some that are unique, like a fitness app. But in terms of bloatware it's not even close to what you'd get from a a US carrier.

I just don't understand the power difference , I can eq it good enough for my liking but the power is ridiculous
Maybe, you might want to use impedance jack separately. I have never used LG yet, but I'm thinking about it, but I think that it doesnt give you enough volume with low impedance headphone. It requires minimum of 50ohms.

Purchased mine the other day.
I prefer the sound signature over the V30
Volume is much louder on the V40.
I am running the Andromeda"a with the V40.
Beautiful sound.

How is the v40 / Andromeda pairing doing for you? I have a v40 on the way and have been looking at Campfire IEMs as an upgrade from my current SE535s. I'm a bit overwhelmed by the number of available models, but the Andromedas are high on the list.

Hi,
I will tell you this, I have owned plenty of higher end iem’s.
The Andromeda’s were very good with the V40.
If you can spare a few extra $$$ go for the Solaris. The hype is real.
Incredible combo

Much appreciated! The Andromedas will already be a pretty significant stretch for me, especially considering I have no experience with CA IEMs to date. The most expensive IEMs that I've purchased to date are my SE535s, but part of the reason I bought the v40 is for a big step up (without having to carry a discrete mobile DAC / headamp) and it sounds like the v40 + Andromeda pairing will be just the big step up that I'm seeking.
