Not really, just means you have a more versitile set-up and options, you can always just not use it once you get it.

Ok, then just go type c to full size usb and then convert it to micro usb?

I have a lovely adapter that connects the lightning adapter out of my iphone to micro usb, would love to have a type c to micro usb

Amps are analog and USB is digital......

I interpreted the original question (not posted by you) as how can I use the DAC of the V20 with the Amp of the Mojo, which is why I mentioned that you couldn't do that with a USB cable since Amps are analog.

No you cannot bypass the DAC in the mojo. It's one of the best portable DACS on the market anyways.
