Definitely yes. I had the M9 prior to the V10. The V10 is waaaay better.

Neither, the signal from the V10 would be entirely digital, the DAC in the receiving device would be doing the work

how does the v10 sound compared to the G5 with B&O hi-fi plus module? I don't think any of these phones sell well and plan on buying one of them once the price comes down to around $500. I will be using it as a dap only.

was there any update from LG regarding enabling the ESS Sabre 9018K2M to be used with Youtube videos and music, SoundCloud, etc...?

I just ordered the V10 and i realized later that the Sabre Dac can only used with the LG Music App, ughhhh someone please tell me this has been fixed by LG.

Soundcloud was still not recognized by upgrading to MM so I still utilized the DAC fix app when streaming Soundcloud....not a biggie IMO but figured I would let you know that it might be the same for you. Everything else worked perfectly though.

Does streaming Tidal take advantage of the dac? This feature is a deal breaker for me.
