The new Beyond Terror Beyond Grace album is fantastic, borrows many elements from Ulcerate while tossing in some elements of icy cold black metal into the mix.
Really, you are always recommending such nice weird bands which I had no clue about like Total Devastation and you listen to As I Lay Dying. Till March of 2011 Metalcore was my genre of choice. I blame it on my ignorance but ever since I have been on this thread I have heard so many different things that I am grateful to one and all. Especially you. You are like a Metal Guru.
BTW i was not sure if your comment was Sarcastic. Was it?

Ha, no I like As I Lay Dying. I have three CDs and I really like them. In 08 and 09 I guess I was more into metalcore but somehow missed As I Lay Dying. They are just talented. The Powerless Rise (2010) is my personal favorite from all I have heard. When I heard it I thought "these guys sound super together and mature" most metalcore bands are super young and maybe a bit inexperienced. I found out they even put out a full album in 2001 and it all made complete sense.

Good good. First time heard 'Forever' on Headbanger's Ball compilation have been following them ever since.
True Story: This happened last Saturday in a band tshirt store in Bangalore which I have visited couple of times:
Me: Do you have As I Lay Dying
Shop Owner: Are you Malayali (Resident of Southern State of Kerala - India).
Me: Yes, How did you know?
Shop Owner: Most people who buy As I Lay Dying T-shirt are Malayalis
DISCLAIMER: This might not be funny for people who have never been in India or do not know anything about India

So stoked on Bolt Thrower, Carpathian Forest, Loss, Manilla Road, Pagan Altar (!!!!!!!!!!), Sleep and Venom. Also stoked that I live in Baltimore and get to basically walk to this.

I really, REALLY hope that Vinterland playing means they have a new ******* album in the works. This list is killing me, Kommandant, Ihsahn, Loss and Anhedonist? Dammit!
