This home studio recordis's new album is streaming free on line. In his early 20s and already at this point, the future looks promising.

With the hundreds of tech/death albums being released every year this stands out well above the rest.

Maybe the guitar album of 2012 for me, if you can believe that.

Thanks for sharing it.  Really enjoying this right now.

Ya.........he kinda reminds me of a Malmsteen. With so much music out there it's nice to find a great young guitarist like he is.

AMG reviewed it and he was this time right, it maybe the best tech death metal album of 2012. I really thought the new Gorod was a shoe-in but damn....

That is truly amazing. That just shows that with great talent and enough technical tricks up your sleeve you can make it against all odds. I would guess he will rerecord the album in a proper studio and have a producer/studio for his next release.

I love seeing people getting successful who are the definitive underdog. He deserves it all.

As I Lay Dying - Awakened releasing on September 25th 2012.  (I know the anti-metalcore sentiments prevalent in this thread, but I do have a soft spot for them)

Anyone here a big fan of Devin Townsend? I just listened to a reupload of the Epicloud listening party (It wasn't available in my country when it was live). It's beautiful. It's certainly not dark-themed like most metal, but it's a very sentimental album carrying another well-executed wall of sound, Devin's trademark.
