and what an incredible band they were live...It is sooo good, never gets old!
Absolutely loving this (and all things, really) through the DX300 -> Nio. Even "high quality" Spotify streaming is blowing my ears away.

Not even halfway through this album, I can already tell that I absolutely love it. Creative, progressive, yet heavy. Awesome album.
EDIT: I can't stop listening to the album! Soooo good!

First time hearing of this artist... Don’t typically listen to much avant-garde metal but this really surprised me. Creative is right! Will have to check out some of his previously releases. The previous album is great too. I need to go back and explore older work.First time hearing of this artist... Don’t typically listen to much avant-garde metal but this really surprised me. Creative is right! Will have to check out some of his previously releases. Thanks for sharing @MatW!
I enjoyed the latter, yet to try Darkthrone, not a big fan of recent work, but let's see!A few other new releases I was able to listen to today:
Arguably my favorite black/crust album... I come back to this at least a once a month.
Wormwitch's recently dropped single off of the upcoming album, Wolf Hex, sounds like it may take things in a different direction compared to Heaven That Dwells Within... regardless, these guy always put out great music and I'm fired up for the new album to drop in August!
Also, @MatW, I've listened to Thy Catafalque Vadak no less than 10 times since you posted it. Easily a top 5 release of 2021 for me. Still haven't gotten around to listening to any of his previous releases but Naiv is on the docket for this afternoon in between conference calls.

I'm glad you are enjoying it! See what I added later at the bottom of my post ... It's awesome. Naiv is great too. I think this new one is better, but I would have to hear them side by side. Also, @MatW, I've listened to Thy Catafalque Vadak no less than 10 times since you posted it.
