The title track has become one of my favorite prog compositions ever. Looks like we'll have next solo album with the same line up early next year. Moar Guthrie's solos please!

 

  Finally got myself The Raven that Refused to Sing.
The 24bit version costs like ten bucks on Mr. Wilsons website.
It sounds so damn good! Amazing album.

Gotta be one of the rock album highlights of the last few years for me. Sometimes you listen to an album you know you will return to many times over the next decade. That says keeper in my book. Dude is a genius.

I saw a video of them playing a concert recently and was kind of hopeful about a new album. Last I knew, Dez was refusing because of drug use by the other members. Also the new slipknot song definitely doesn't live up to the one just before it

Guys, for fans of blackened death, here is one of my favorite little gems that never really got the attention it deserved, Order of Orias' Inverse.



Really a fantastic record.

This was excellent. Usually black/death has one genre being predominant, but this was pretty much a seamless blend of the two. Very evil, to boot! Thanks!

Drug use? How can that be? They are such fine upstanding folks?

Slipknot lost their song writer so in reality this is maybe the most scary release. I hope it is not hit and miss, like your take on the first two songs?
