[Tom Yum Goong]

Only band I listen to that some people would say is metalcore, is BTBAM. I first needed some time to get used to the vocals, but now....one of my all-time favourite bands

LOL thats true, but just because they are playing Warped Tour doesn't make them metalcore
 
Plus, I think that Trevor has forgotten more about metal than most of us ever knew
 
Edit: I also like some metalcore, but that is also not an argument for TBDM being metalcore though i would say most metalcore is pretty bad...some of it is good

+1 on BTBAM. Great band, albums can be a bit hit-or-miss. Listening to the 'Thomas Giles' solo album right now, incidentally. Absolutely stellar album.

I hate Metalcore. The Fall of Ideals is the only Metalcore thing I've ever liked.

Yeah...the list of metalcore i like is very small...anything after the fall of ideals by all that remains is bad. but Across the Sun aint bad, i really liked their last cd, and of course Digital Veil by The Human Abstract is basically a masterpiece. Parkway Drive also has a few good cds, everything up to Horizons is pretty solid.

Uhhh, they played the Metal & Hardcore festival as well.

I've always considered TBDM melodeath-core simply because of the vocal delivery. Perhaps that's not fair.

Metalcore band Aegaeon has a new video/song up at Metalstorm. I was listening to it thinking this is really, really good. That is one album I will defiantly listen to in August.As I Lay Dying is just a great band. I have an open mind, anything that's good I'll listen to. New Avenger Sevenfold song out too.

I like every one of those albums! Strange as it sounds, it was as I lay dying that revived my flagging interest in metal after the 90's

I never considered anything Killswitch Engage did as Metalcore, but I guess if they are I like some of their stuff.

I usually think of -core stuff as having more annoying vocals.
