This is quickly sky rocketing to the top of my 2023 releases list…

Listening to this on Mest Mkii as I do my weekly yard work.Only about half way along (currently on Architect of Suffering) and it’s great so far!!
Like someone said earlier…so much great metal this year.
This is quite unique and highly enjoyable. A solid black metal foundation with electronic synth and ambient elements throughout providing an otherworldly atmosphere. The chanting vocal interludes and subsonic groundswells are mystifying and really help to build suspense. These are the two guys behind Ungfell. Worth a listen!

Two excellent albums!
Really liking Rannoch. Spinning again this morning for the second time.

Couldn't have put it better myself. This album is a boatload of fun. Greg Burgess is a shredder.
Today's new release adds:
Listened through URNE earlier and like it quite a bit. I don't feel that it's as strong as Serpent & Spirit, which was one of my favorite albums from 2021. The new album seems a bit more one dimensional.
Playing Kataklysm now. Never been a huge fan of theirs. There are some catchy riffs on this album but I'm quickly losing interest... Likely won't stick around in the library.
VERY excited for the new Horrendous album that drops next Friday, the 18th!
