Not that I have heard much of them, but the new Hyperion (Sweden) debut was pretty tight Symphonic Black Metal and Zhrine is just exactly what this ever burning world needs now.

Around the time it came out, I got the rare (500 copies) wooden box set of Ashes Against The Grain, but later sold it. It was nifty! Mine came with a bag of ashes.

Whether this is the permanent end of Agalloch altogether or a possible fresh start, I don't know. I probably won't know for awhile. The band has simply been reduced back to its founding, visionary member for the first time in 20 years. Beyond that, the future is unknown.
