That is quite a list! Looking forward to some of those.

I want to check out Kataklysm and Jungle Rot. Is the whole album out? I Haven't been able to find an affordable copy of Acturus' new one. That's on my list for sure. I should listen to the new Moonspell and Gorgoroth, too.

Kataklysm is not out or are any on the written list.

The guy that runs the label that Vehemence is releasing their album through also runs a festival in Arizona called Southwest Terror Fest that is really amazing. He's in a band called Godhunter as well. Really smart and nice guy. He makes quality stuff so I'm really excited for the album. I'm not a huge Godhunter fan (mostly because I'm not into the hardcore elements), but it's still good stuff.

I never listened to Tad. I'm checking them out now. Let me know what you think. I think you'll dig this album.

Tad was always way more metal than most of the other grunge scene members (8-way Santa is great, inhaler was their major label debut and pretty good, the lyrics are really good). They never hit it big but we're always mired in controversy, their album art was always pretty intense and they got sued a couple times. Tad's (as in the singer) last output I was aware of was Hog Molly until you got me right into the sonic cloth stuff which is really great.

I also saw Tad with sound garden, in 94 IIRC. Can't say I remember that show very well

I'll have to check out that 1996 release as it gets great marks at Encyclopedia Metalium. Only own one disk by them, Hades Rise from 2008.

Fast hour long Hell Fest pro filmed show featuring the new COF. Looks like the drummer is a strong one. They push him up in the mix as well.

Only a few weak moments with the band playing their take on old songs. They are just starting to tour and will maybe get tighter as the months go on.

Hammer Of The Witches made it's way out of the tool box today, even though we are expecting a July 10th release dates. Maybe the strongest album for them in 15 years. Who would have thought?

This link dropped 4 hrs ago and will most likely not last too long.

Ya, ha, I do that. Chewing a little at a time is needed with certain music. Not done often either. Still there can be two reasons. One is you like the songs so much you play the first couple a bunch. The second reason is you can't mentally get the style/music figured out?

Your talking house music from 1988? People that are 67 now used to call Frank Zappa acid music?
