First impressions is that it has impressive transparency and clarity without a hint of brightness. Smooth yet extremely detailed with laser sharp imaging.

Thank you for posting this review!

It convinced me to buy a pre-owned pair (mine has the black silk sleeves) from a fellow Head-Fier.

I use the Grand Silver interconnects as a balanced connection between my Wyred4Sound STP-SE preamp and my active ATC SCM-19A speakers.

The sound is phenomenal, and a step above the Audioquest Water balanced interconnects I was using prior. The Water cables are very, very good for their price, but the Grands upstage them.

The treble is the part of the frequency range where I hear the greatest difference, with a higher degree of detail while still sounding relaxed and natural.

In addition, the midrange has had a slight veil removed, and music simply appears mid-air, with more precise placement of performers in the soundstage. The presence of voices has gone from “excellent” to nearly “uncannily real”.

As my setup already had a very, very low noise floor with excellent power conditioning and a very detailed DAC, along with high-quality cabling throughout, the Lavricables Grands have allowed the transients and dynamics to be more crystal-clear.

I should note that the former owner, who purchased from Lavricables, had logged roughly 150 hours of usage (without original burn-in service), so the Grands should be operating close to optimally.

Bravo, Lavricables- I must highly recommend the Grands as an end-game model for high-quality systems.

(I’ve scooted the hi-fi cabinet back a few inches toward the wall since this was taken- the ATCs are now several inches in front of it… 😉)

I have been using Lavricables Grand Silver interconnect cables (RCA/RCA and XLR/XLR) for a bit over two years.

I'm just copying what I posted in the Campfire Audio Astroliths thread as the Lavricables Grand IEM cables exceeded my expectations,

Come to think of it, these Grand cables are 20AWG cables which are much thicker than the stock IEM cables. Given that they're thicker, this can lower the resistance to the cable thus changing impedance which in turn (in my case) increases dynamic range on my Astroliths. Does that analogy sound right?

Am I crazy?

My Lavricables Grand cables just arrived today and they make my Astroliths sound different than with the stock timestream cables!
So far, it seems that the cables have increased soundstage depth by a lot. A lot of weight by the low end frequencies. Seems to be some blooming in the mids but burn I guess a theoretical "burn-in" of the cable should probably change things. It could also be because the cable just delivered to me so the cables are cold, when they're at room temperature the sound will probably change.
Using the MMCX remover tool, I was able to safely swap between each cable while minimizing chance of damage on the MMCX ports.
I do have to complain though that the MMCX connectors that Lavricables uses are not exactly like the Campfire Audio ones, probably very small differences but there is a slightly tigher fit compared to "Campfire Audio" configured MMCX connectors. They are just a bit tighter, connection seems solid though.

These are 20AWG OCC pure silver cables so the thickness will probably affect the signal a little too.

These are a thick braid, but not as thick as a 8-braided cable obviously.
Maybe if there was a 8-braid version of this cable it would affect the impedance a little :)
