Anybody considered getting the Razer Diamondback once it comes out? This one is a bit more ergonomic than the Viper and it seems to have gotten the skipping problems on low sensitivity. 1600 DPI to boot ( not that it really matters.. )

Shhhh, it does matter. Let Tomshardware continue to misinform the public on the supposed lack of benefit of more than 800dpi so those of us that know better can continue to have our way with players that use less responsive, less precise mouses

LOL, now you are a hardcore gamer!!! I cannot imagine taking the mouse off the pad, even during the most intense FPS. Do you throw the mouse at the monitor?

I think it is. I just use a normal Microsoft wireless optical mouse, and I play games like Doom 3 and Far Cry and although its *slightly* worse than my last corded mouse, the difference is absolutely tiny, and not worth getting worked up over in the slightest.

I am interested in the Diamondback, but living in Canada I get the shaft because they only ship UPS and won't make an exception for me. UPS is notorious for obsurd brokerage fees and I do not want to get owned by them for the 3rd time. So if anyone in the U.S. is ordering one, would you be interested in getting a 2nd one for me and ship it USPS? I would of course pay up front and for all the shipping to you and then to me.

Biggie.
