Limited edition/rarity and performance dictate price curves. Just ask any automotive collector with a '69 Corvette ZR-1. The economy also has something to do with it, as collectors sell to a smaller market. Supply vs. demand. Don't be surprised if he doesn't get his price and then must either lower it or they simply don't sell.
