Hey guys new here! im wondering what is the better sounding pair? im getting these to hold me over until i decide what higher end pair to purchase. I have read nothing but good reviews from both. I listen to all kinds of music if this matters any. Thanks for the help!

If you're just waiting to get nicer phones just buy whichever one is easiest for you to find. I picked up some KSC75s just today to see what all the hype's about and they'll definately hold you over until you buy Grados

or something comparable (there's no such thing)

I have both.

I far prefer the coated wire "Hangers" on the 75. The 35's have a plastic clip that is not as flexible nor does it slide on as smooth.

Some have commented that the back on the 35's are a bit less restricted and sound more open. I did not hear that. I certainly do hear a much more heavy bass out of my Porta Pro and Porta Pro 2.

I got two 75's for $13.99 each and free shipping at Amazon. With no amp needed it gives me 85-90 percent of the sound of my Senn 650/HP-100A tube amp sound.

I think both the KSC-35 and KSC-75 were both better deals at $20 than the Senn HD-202's were at $10 (including shipping, off ebay). I have a soft spot for that Koss sound. Very nice and warm. They are detailed and nice sounding enough to impress, while still being conservative enough not to upset.

I have both and prefer the KSC35 but honestly, they're nearly identical. For the price, you absolutely can't beat the KSC75's. In fact, you'll need to start looking in $100+ range to find anything that is enough better to warrant spending money on.

My favourite Koss clipon is the KSC-75 drivers with KSC-35 clips attached to them. Closer to your ear than the 75 clips, better padding than the 35 drivers (though you can swap them), and they look better than any of the other combinations

I went for a walk today with an evilfire cmoy into my 5G with Turbodock II, and the cans? PortaPro drivers (blue ones, lol!) with KSC-35 clips popped on there.

Result? Excellent! Honestly, I could live with that rig.

If you can get the KSC-35, get it. If not, get a KSC-75 and bend the clips to bring the drivers close to your ears like the KSC-35 does - not a bad approximation.

Good gosh, some of these statements are plain ridiculous! The ksc35/75 are definitely really nice bargain headphones, but you have to have tin ears if you can't hear a substantial difference b/n the ksc35/75 and even a Grado sr60. At less than $100, there are a handful of headphones that are much better, including the sr60, hd485, eh350, dt231, k240s, hd280, ms1, and more. Again, the ksc35/75 are great bargain headphones, but let's be reasonable.
