You can try searching for it under other names. I found this--

http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Fashion-4gb-flash-cheap-mp4-players_1854817521.html

In the middle of the page (after the specs) there is a list of other names this player goes by and the countries they're available in.

(apologies if that has been posted before)

Also Proline PL-40 to add to list of no camera and no FLAC support. This is not the same as Kogan.

Ritmix RF-7650 and DJix M550 look like only potentially legit ones so far..? Depending on what's inside. They look same and have camera as well as FLAC support.

(Edit: confusing wording)

This is just a guess, but going back to my original post the owner of Kogan (the company) did mention he hand picks the parts for his products. Pushing parts aside he may of also self decided the solution he wanted for Kogan. For example, flac support, camera , memory capacity etc.

The way you guys are finding several very similar but with different specs. features under different brands suggests to me these are like a kit you put together in bulk order then the main supplier builds them around your specs, features, your brand name on the casing etc etc...

Flac support and sd expansion are the only reasons I took notice (especially the flac support). Anyway that's just a hunch I have.

I prefer fm radio tuner instead of a camera module (maybe even 10 times more)
