Well I think asking $60 shipped is too much when you consider it costs $25-30 in Russia. Thanks for the link btw.

You are wc.  I really like the SQ and prefer it over my Fiio X1. It is bright and has lots of detail. Sadly, the middle button on mine is acting up and not registering the clicks. Time to get another one now.

You cannot replace Kogan.

Its like trying to find the right timing, placement and specific window of the Universe again, it could only be done once in lifetime.

I envy you all for trying though.

There is no other Kogan/Ritmix my friend.

I've been eyeing this up for those occasions where I don't want to risk damage to my Colorfly C3. Have you heard the S5? if so, what are your impressions?

@Wyrdrune. Nope, sorry. It just popped on the Under 200 setups thread.

@H20Fidelity and @ozkan I know, but it is just too tempting not to try to look for a substitute.

My Kogan has passed away...............still nothing lasts forever..........:joy:

"I've... seen things you people wouldn't believe; attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion; I've watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those... moments... will be lost... in time, like... tears... in rain."

Fun Facts:

  1. Kogan isn't even really called Kogan, that's just the name of the company who sell several products including phones, TV's, toothbrushes, food blenders (and more).
  2. The real name was really lame like: 8GB MP4 Player
  3. Kogan was discovered entirely by accident on eBay. There were no plans of discovering some cheap player for everyone.
  4. The only reason I bought it was because it said 'FLAC support', for $29, I thought I have to try and I was also bored.
