Where to buy the Castor? Shipping to Poland :)

Thank you!

Also some cheap dac/amp to move it with the phone? I have a pocophone F1
KZ Store as mentioned above or from here.

I don't know what cheap means to you, but I use the CharmTek TPR22 as a really small, portable dongle. Unfortunately, its price is quite high these days, so you can probably find something cheaper. My other dongle is the absolutely phenomenal Creative SXFI AMP - independent volume control, play/pause button, plenty of power and low output impedance at an affordable price of 70$ without any discounts. Currently this model is sold as Creative X1.

just got the zat, what a very pleasant surprise
Is it any good? I can’t seem to find a IEM I like. Among others I tried the HiFiMan RE400i and RE800 Silver, the KZ PR1 balanced edition, X hbb pr2, 10 pro x and a lot more kz(see my signature), the hidisz ms2 and ms3 and recently the 1more penta p50. The only IEM I liket a little was the PR1. The penta has very good reviews but don’t sound a lot better than the pr1. I don’t even want to talk about the castor and krila…

i personally like it alot. i think they have improved alot on their hybrids. the bass is somewhat for bassheads that can appreciate a speedy quality dd. the mids are very well done too, not a lot going on after 10k

I have received ZAT and CCA Pianist recently. I also ordered few cables (colour therapy :)), and some I just love the packaging and the great story, while not hearing any cable difference. I ordered Ace 2.0 just based on amazing (to me) aesthetics of Ace.

Back to IEMs - Pianist is a great specialist tool for me - to feel piano close, just amazing; also great with acoustic instruments, while being likely sharp/piercing to many with electronic music.

Now, ZAT - well, the truncation past 10K is real, even for my middle-age ears. The "linear bass" - I could not get it so far to appreciate - just too much (all switches up).
I am not really sure how AS24 can be "less resolving" than ZAT for some reviewers. Not hearing "by the curve" may be simpler and less obliging...

I think I am done with HeadFi at this point. Totally underwhelmed by all the "reviewers" - a vast majority, feeling like locust (and not regulated in any way, compared to "members of the trade").
I do not find all the output of those "reviewers", obliging to report to their free samples, much/any instructive at all (actually, largely not helpful at all, if not distracting :frowning2:).

When I joined KZ thread about 5 years ago, there were real people exchanging their great impressions of what their have got with their own funds and enjoyed very much :)

Not any more :frowning2:, and I do not feel putting any more efforts to bother with my impressions here.

Bro I for one have enjoyed reading your work on this site and would be sorry to see you go. Can't believe you ordered such expensive cables actually 😂

I have the same feeling. And I also think that sample reviewers are the main problem.
