Gah damnit! I'm now stuck in KZ Shipping Limbo... Why did I DO this to myself...
Same, got a tracking number but they haven’t actually shipped it lmao
Tbf what I was most worried was they were trying to backtrack on the discount, I can just wait since they basically confirmed they’ll ship it when they get stock

If you read it again carefully, you'll see that the discount was applied automatically upon checkout as stated in the screenshot.I believe the KZTWS promo deal is over. It was on for 7 days. The price was USD$39.

I purchased it in USD and got the appropriate discount upon checkout. I'm in Auckland, by the way.Dammit you had me momentarily excited until I checked and saw that it was US$ rather than NZ$.
It would've been ~$77NZD normally and I got it for ~$65NZD with a bank statement to prove it.

Someone apparently successfully destroy his PR2 through sheer power output.
Bought through official channel and will got replacement as KZ wants the damaged unit for dissection.

It's here
Ordered twice two days apart but all 4 arrived at the same time.
Four PR2 sets? Is it in case three of them dying withing minutes or having channel imbalance

Comparing the PR2 with the PR1 Pro several things are immediately obvious.
1: there is a mesh over the driver in the PR2
2: the nozzle filter is different
Finer on the PR2 vs PR1
3: the driver seems to be the thinner "v1" driver found in the PLA13/PR1b/h which may explain why it took a step back in efficiency compared to the PR1 Pro. It's using the older less efficient driver.

I wonder if that mesh/damper might be a culprit for reported inconsistencies and imbalance between channels and sets in general.
Hmm Didn't the official kz guy and HBB said it's the retune of the newer driver?Comparing the PR2 with the PR1 Pro several things are immediately obvious.

Apart from the tuning, are there differences in the soundstage or imaging?
