I was on the fence about buying this. It literally graphs like a roller coaster as you said lol. Who knows maybe that bass shelf masks the devil peaks.

The early impression was "more technical than Rhapsody but a bit thin sounding compared to PR3"...

On paper the idea of a DD with a Planar sounds good. It might take KZ a few tries before they get this one right, but for now I'm kind of happy I went with the Trio

On paper page 1 : DD + planar
apparently they didn't read the page 2 : big DD for bass (at least 10mm) + planar for mids and high extension

an example of a good idea gone wrong

so here comes full range planar overlapping with small 6mmDD (which is no use here) with weird tuning and thin sounding

Symphony looks like a case of KZ jumping the gun to maintain their monthly releases. If the tuner had more time to develop, maybe these things wouldn't happen.

After releases like Rhapsody and Trio, a big let-down. At least they tried, I guess.
