Are these earphones as sibilant as the Klipsch Image One headphones? Same V-shaped sound signature?

They don't require an amp like some IEMs seem to, but they do appreciate a better source upstream. I've used a few portable DAC/amp combos and they worked well with the X10 IMO.

Use mine with my C&C BH and think it sounds great but they are also decent unamped. No sibilance with mine even sound slightly veiled when unamped.

They sound warmer than the One's IMO. I don't amp them either.

Definitely no sibilance with them-if anything, they can sound a bit veiled in treble, depending on tips used, of course. Very easy going and smooth, perfect for long listening sessions on planes etc...

Works great with my iPhone 5. No amp is needed, but I use one with my Zune 30. Choice of tip has an effect on sibilance. A larger tip opening lessens sibilance noticeably. I love mine...
