I have yet to contact anyone to see if they will actually do this, but...

I want to combine 2 iems, an Etymotic hf5 and a Klipsch Custom 2 into one shell. The sound tube of my hf5 has broken for the second time,

I really think this would work well. It would be my first custom mold and I have other worthy candidates for remold (TF10, for example), I realize that lack of proper voicing found in commercial products and lack of crossovers might be serious cons to doing this,  Yet I've been thinking about this for a while and really want to try.

Just wondering what others here have to say about this.

That depends on the drivers in the Custom 2 which I do not know what they are. I remember reading that the HF5 are based on the same driver as the ER4 but tweaked differently so you have  TWFK driver which is a good driver for your highs. I don't know the other drivers but it also depends on the crossover and such. I would send an email to UM if you were planning to do it via them.
