I know Kennerton guys have been testing the Dekoni Velvet pads, for the Odin, "out of curiosity" ...

I guess these new Kennerton "Hybrid" pads, leather and velvet, make the most of this experience, both for improved wearing comfort, and for improved the sound ....

Looks like Kennerton has just released a new closed back (?) headphone. Called, I think, the Jord?

I wonder how it sounds? What were they going after with this design. For more portable use perhaps?

    Hi all,

This exceptional Kennerton Odin Thridi has a name; a very nice name: "Nothern Star"

See the comment below (in quote) made by the CEO of Kennerton for this exceptional headphones created for Christmas, a veritable work of art resulting in all the expertise in planar headphones very high-end with beauty and the quality of the materials used, the originality of the concept, without forgetting the sound, a great sound, closer to the Thror than the old Odin mk2, two other stars in the firmament of the planars headphones. :)

    Quote:

" Right before Christmas, we have just created a real Northern Star.
We believe you deserve the best so we have made a unique, stunning piece of art.

For these Thridi we decided to use maple wood from our northern regions.
We applied a special treatment and finishing coating, which allowed us to preserve the natural beauty of the maple and emphasize it with multiple coatings of ultra-strong piano lacquer.

The cushions and headband are made of genuine Blue Navy leather, which is an amazing gray-blue color.
We made ambushures of the softest leather and a special filler in order to be as comfortable as possible for you!
All aluminum parts are painted in a light gray color which perfectly matches the main color scheme of the headphones.
Every time we give a piece of our soul, making our headphones, and striving for perfection, we turn our work into art.
True art should be unique, and it should be exceptional!

Made in St. Petersburg, with love. "
