Ithilienrp, thanks for your report about lawton pads with Odin. I am interested : which model have you tested exactly ?

Looks good. Wonder how it sounds. Might get one nonetheless.

By the way, I want to report a bit on Odin Mk2 Pad-Rolling. I tried Lawton Angled Pads on it. Increased sub-bass a noticeably bit, while not loosing too much of the tonality (as did the ZMF-Ori cowhide pads) and the mid still sounds pretty good. It is also very very comfortable. More so than any pads I tried on, including the Odin Mk2 pads itself. It feels like the JPS Abyss pads (which, despite the look, a very comfortable headphone).

Ironically, Lawton pads on Odin is, IMHO, better than Lawton pads on Fostex TH-series, which they were designed for.

So, as a result, I'm keeping the Lawton pads on one of my Mk2 pair, and Odin Mk2 pads on another pair.

Hi Jérôme.

By deduction I think this model of pads Lawton Audio Angle Pads for Denon (for Denon AH D2000) (link: http://www.lawtonaudio.com/denonanglepads.html) is compatible with the Kennerton Odin, since the Kennerton Odin compatible pads ECL-02 Brown (or black) are also compatible with the Denon AH D2000 (link: http://kennerton.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=62&product_id=90.

About exclusive versions.

The French are known for the high-end electrodynamic headphones Focal Utopia and the exclusive version of goldsmithery Tourniaire (at 100 K)

The Russians are less well-known for their top-of-the-range orthodynamic headphone (planar), the Kennerton Odin, but they also have limited versions of this headphone with different species of precious wood; A true work of lutherie, as for the lacquered version of the K. Odin in Karelian birch.

Still less known, there is also an exclusive version of the Kennerton Odin, made of metalwork for the external grills, true ironwork work in the noble sense of the term, in pure Russian tradition.

Those look like what the elves in Hellboy 2 would wear. Gorgeous.

Quite an impressive high-end pigpile/cuddle puddle. Too bad the iFi Pro rack isn't quite ready yet, would have been a great opportunity to test out the Energizer.

This thread somehow disappeared/got deleted from my list of subscribing threads. Might be due to the error/oversight in some logic in the site data migration. So I didn't know there were updates :frowning2:

Anyway, I'm back here again :)
