'You Are Not So Smart': Why We Can't Tell Good Wine From Bad"

"The Misconception: Wine is a complicated elixir, full of subtle flavors only an expert can truly distinguish, and experienced tasters are impervious to deception."

Bollocks. When a wine taste more like what goes on me fish and chips than what I drink it is plain old bad.

Headphones are great!

As its obviously my signature I originally felt entitled to comment on that comment. But since you obviously did not read the whole article any response might be futile anyway...
Point being that expectations play a very important part in perception. We can discuss that via PM if you are so inclined. And leave out single word sentences.

How much bass do they have, compared to open headphones like the ma900, dt880, or hd598?

These sound like nice open headphones that seal somewhat well, have a nice amount of bass, and nice intimate soundstage
