So I just received the K7BT. Can't believe how good it makes my new HD6xxs sound. Details are popping in the music that I've never heard! The bass sounds nice and controlled as well with a nice added thump. Amazing!

@FiiO Hi, I got my KA13 yesterday. I have 3 questions:

1. I know that there is a FW update, labelled 0.12, available. However, when launching the FiiO Control app, it says KA13 version is V 2.0.
What does that mean? Should I still upgrade?

2. On your FW download page here, a customer has issue with the FW 0.12: He said "I still hear sudden stuttering, noise, or popping sounds when playing music". Was that issue investigated and should I worry about it? Because for now, I don't have any issue with the KA13 (FYI, my setup can be one of the following: iPhone SE 2020, M2 MacBook Air, Shanling M3X)

3. In case I upgrade and start hearing sudden noise as described above, would you provide me the older FW version to downgrade? (for waiting for a later patch in that case)

I didn't do the update yet (waiting for a Windows laptop to do it).

But I noticed this in the System Profiler on Mac (please see pic):
Version: 0.12

Does that mean some KA13s were already shipped with the latest FW update? (I ordered mine from AliExpress 3 weeks ago).

@FiiO hallo, I just bought ka13 yesterday. When I'm playing music with format MQA in tidal. The sound in my IEM is broken. But when I played with FLAC the sound is normal. Btw, I have by pass tidal for access my KA13. My handphone is Xiaomi 11T. And firmware for KA13 is V.012.

If you have an Android phone, you can download the Fiio Control App. After connecting the KA13 to the Android device via a USB cable, you will also see the firmware version number of the KA13 on the Fiio Control App.

KA13 does not support MQA songs. If your KA13 does not malfunction when listening to other songs, it means your KA13 should be normal. By the way, I usually use KA13 with Xiaomi 11 mobile phone, and I am very satisfied with the sound.

Thanks for your answer @FiiO. It seems my KA13 is up-to-date then. But weirdly enough the version shown in the FiiO Control App (Android) is 2.0 (just to let you know, not a big deal as I see the real version number in the System monitor on my Mac).

I will mention again I was a bit harsh on my initial impressions of the KA13. I really like it and after trying a few of their dongles and devices I think it’s the best one yet. No power limits on iPhone, sounds great and goes plenty loud.

Plus, the limit on the app setting is a plus. As you don’t need an app for setting specific settings. I like the way it was made.

Do any of KA1, KA2, KA3, KA5, KA13 support in-line microphone (4-pole 3.5mm CTIA TRRS)?
