I currently have a stock cabled ms-1i and k701. I kinda wanted to recable the ms1i's for portable use (short cable and 90degree plug) but I've read that the recabling may change the sound of my ms1i... and not for the better.
1. Would it really make the sound that much worse?
2. Would changing the length of original cable and adding a 90 degree plug have any effect?
3. Also I bought 20ft of the mogami cable so I'll probably recable my k701's while Im at it. Should I wire the drivers individually (split cable to each side) or just run a new cable to the one side (same as stock setup)?
