Thanks for the welcome
Millett The 307 is an excellent amplifier for the K1000.
I can say money well spent

Nicola. Nice rig you got there!
I take it that you prefer the 307A over the Signature 30.2. Care to write a short summary? I have never heard the 307A myself, but absolutely adore the Signature 30.2 / K1000 combo.

Welcome to Head-Fi!

Hi Krmathis
Thanks for Welcome in headfi (great school)
Signature 30.2/K1000 is very nice sistem, is a killer less than $ 3000, 307A is universal amp for many headphones.
For 2 years I live only with K1000 and Red Wine
The difference is (I refer to 307A) very open and detalied sound, is big sound, great soundstage, and...... I love tubes.
If I vote from zero to ten
10. is perfection (Nik refer me Air Taight...)
9. 307A
8. Signature 30.2

Masterpiece is the K1000

is there any reputable source, that I can purchase a k1000?

They have been out of production since 2005. So I guess the most secure way is to buy a used pair from a trusty Head-Fi member.
