I was looking for a circumaural headphone that is decent at isolating, sounds decent, and is in the $50-$100 range. (And is somewhat portable)
Ideally the headphone would have a short cable. I listen to mainly alternative rock, electronic, rock, hip-hop.
I came across both the S600 and S700, which both generally have very good reviews. But I was wondering what the difference is between these two headphones. They are similarily priced, but how do they very in sound? I know that the S600 is the S150's (Which I own and love) big brother, and that the S700 is a Bose TriPort clone.
Any noticeable differences between the two?
Any other suggestions are welcome. (The reason I love head-fi is because no one is going to reccomend Beats or Bose )
(I was also looking at the AKG 77/99 or AKG 514, opinions on those are welcome as well)
