You're asking a community of thousands of people, so you're going to get a bunch of different answers.

I, personally, need a nice, big soundstage to game on a set of headphones. IEMs don't do it for me. But, they might work for you. 

I'll say this, however, any mentioned set of headphones/IEMs and a Zalman mic is going to get you on the right track.

Those were my first iems..got them when i was 13 and i still have them...once the buds come off ur stuck listening without sleves unless u superglue some on.....the sound is pretty bad,but good for 20 usd

Sounds like headphones might me more stable than earphones
 
Can you buy good isolation headphones from like... a shop like currys or pc world if any of you know those shops

Just as an FYI, Head-Fi's kind of a small community. I've had several threads where no one has responded for months. Don't take offense to it.


Anyway, at least here in the States, very few headphones worth writing home about are sold in retail shops. But, Amazon gift cards are!
