JVC HA-FXZ 100/200

I been trying to find a set of IEMs that will compliment my TDK BA200. Something with more bass. I'm not a bass head by any means and find my Shure se215 to have too much quantity. A tad bit more than the GR07 would be the perfect amount for me. Would the FXZ200 OR 100 fit the bill?

100 will be suitable for you then, I am no basshead either and the 100 to me is just borderline, though you will find that the bass quality is so good that you won't care anymore

I personally don't think the FXZ-100 would be it, coming from the GR07. There's a GR07 Bass Edition for those like you who'd like a touch more bass impact and rumble.

What is inadequate on the FXZ-100 for them to fit the bill?

If he finds the SE215 to have too much, then there's no chance he'll like the FXZ. Also, if you like the GR07's sound signature then the FXZ-100 would not be a step in the right direction.

I have not gone through the whole thread yet but just after reading first 50 pages I was convinced enough that I should give these a try (currently have Beyer DT990, JVC FH101) and placed an order for HA-FXZ 200 from Amazon.jp. Let's see if they live up to the hype or not

(Never thought that this day will come when I will be spending more than $50 on IEMs............ I should stop visiting Head-Fi

That's exactly what I thought too.

But, I got the FXZ100's for a pretty awesome deal, so hopefully that'll keep me from spending on IEM's for awhile...hopefully

For replacement tips, are the Meelectronics M11 eartips (http://www.meelec.com/MEElectronics_Original_Eartips_for_M11_Earphones_p/tipset10-m11-bk-mee.htm) the the best bet for the FXZ100? Are there any other styles of meelec eartips that fit well on the FXZ100?

For anyone who wants the 100's I have a new pair, unopened, in the for sale forum's. I also have the 200's but thought having both would be redundant.

The link should appear below.  Shipping from New Jersey.

So I registered on amazon.co.jp and Tenso, but Amazon is asking me for a Province/Zip Code which Tenso did not provide me with. Where am I missing it??

Tenso's zip code is 120-0023.  You're address should look like this:

  1. Full Name: Your Name
  2. Zip Code: 120-0023
  3. Prefecture: Tokyo-to
  4. Address Line 1: 足立区 千住曙町42-4
  5. Address Line 2: TSXXXXXX (unique 6 digit number)
  6. Company Name: Tenso
  7. Phone: 0357393341

Tenso and Amazon Japan is not good for anyone that wants a deal. You end up getting more than you thought you would. So you end up buying multiple things. Not good..I am taking advantage of buying this way. A better deal is a better deal. I think they hiked the shipping charge a bit on Tenso. but it still is the best price..
