So no sound leakage to the outside when wearing these?

Also, I currently have XBA-3s.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like these are XBA-3s with more bass, wider soundstage, extended highs, recessed mids? Does that sound about right?

Nope, I listen at fairly high volume levels and people sitting a few feet away cant hear them at all

^^^^ lol ....and yes sub bass added mid pulled back highs pulled back as well but not as much as the mids.

How are the mids? I prefer my mids to be a little forward and it doesn't sound like these have that. Hopefully they're not recessed.

Cool, they're available through Amazon.com now. Not sure if that's been noted yet, but I think it's definitely noteworthy

I was thinking about getting them there too, until I found out the FXZ200s are $180 on AmazonJP.

They've been offered on Amazon.com through mostly Japanese sellers for a while now. Pricing has usually been higher than just going through Amazon.jp and Tenso, hence the popularity of going the Tenso route on here.

Got them today. I have to say: straight out of the box, playing from a cowon x7 and fiio e7, they sound AMAZING.
I'm gonna give them some burn-in time before I really can judge them, but I dont regret my choice of buying them, thats for sure.
I love the bass, and the soundstage and separation sound great too.
