LOL, the MDR-SA5000 is big boned.

Now as for how it sounds is the real issue.

Of course, I'm still miffed about the lack of adjustabililty of the "taking the Herman Miller Aeron influence too far" design feature of the Qualia 010's.

Yeah, if I like the 010's, I'll probably get those too.

Then I'll truly be a Sony Wh**e.

The 5000 must be the zen model: It seems to be beautiful/ugly, cheap/rich, comfy/painful, same as/different from, plush/fat...

You know, I noticed all prices for the SA5000 on Japanese retail websites seems to be just under $600 US instead of the talked about $750...

Hopefully it'll get to around $500 so I can pick up a pair.

I've been noticing that too and in fact, I'm seeing many online japanese retailers with the price hovering around 51,000-56,000yen (~$485-$521), which is near the price of many Audio Technica headphones.
