No. A Dutch Paypal account needs a credit card attached.
You don't have to actually use it (except for a confirmation payment of 1 euro), but it has to be there.

Its good to show support for something that you obviously enjoy. I donated for the same reason. Somebody has to help pay for the forum. I know I don't notice the font, and I suspect that 99% of people don't care either.

I don't think you need a credit card to use paypal; you just don't get a "confirmed paypal account", which isn't good for reputation when selling/buying stuff.

The problem is you can't HAVE a Paypal account without a credit card in the Netherlands (and lots of other countries).
