Any comparison between Hua Jiang and Mofasest Trio?
They seem have similar tuning (close to my preference tuning) with Trio have more up north bass.
Also with mangird tea although they are cheaper and slightly different tuning

My initial impression of the JQ Hua Jiang wasn't all too positive, however it was my first IEM with EST drivers, and little did i know that they would require about 200+ hours of burn in!

Now i am very VERY positive about the JQ Hua Jiang. I easily rank it above the the Sony IER-M9 ( EQ required )

Really looking forward to more IEMs from JQ Audio, glad to see they are becoming available on aliexpress! Personally i'm trying to get my hands on the JQ Elk!

I was secretly hoping JQ Audio would bring out a EST model knowing what they are capable of as a company! Wel let's hope we will see more information and pictures soon of this new model.
I'm also still really interested in the JQ Elk, but it's kinda difficult to get your hands on a pair!

well although the talk here is all about the HJ, I still have the old flagships, the discontinued 8+1 :relieved:. They are unsurpassed by all the iems I tried so far... I would think it might even be tuned better than the HJ although I never tried it. And although the bass are not for bassheads, it has a lush warm tilt that makes it so engaging and textured. It creates fast snappy chops, robust and lively presentation playing Arctic Monkey’s Favourite Worst Nightmare.

I would say the 8+1 is flashy like a Ferrari, wholesome and merciless, while the Heir 10.0 is like an Audi R8 - more low-key, stable and mature. Dynamics are really good, makes the DM7 lacklustre, artificial in comparison and the T800 whimsical and flabby.

Steep price!
Also i don't like te fact that they look exactly as their cheapest model, the JQ 4U.
For that price i'd want something unique!

Yeah, they look very generic, not ugly, but definitely not fit for a nearly $2000 IEM.
