You are correct. My third pair of lcd3 is good enough for me to be able to sell my lcd2.

They arent a huge upgrade but there are some things I like about them. They are richer sounding than the lcd2r2 and I really like how the soundstage is layered/posistioning of instruments.

Nice.  I'll have to see about making sure I set up early so I can try to grab a listen when it's not too busy.  Not that I'm in the financial position to spring for one anytime soon...unless the entire Harry Potter as e-book furor continues and Amazon stocks stay this high for the rest of the year.  LOL
