While you're doing that, you may also like to check out albums under his other act, The RH Factor, which leans more towards jazz-funk or soul jazz. Kinda like The Robert Glasper Experiment but less hard-edged and more soulful. With your experience in the jazz scene, you're probably already quite familiar with these.

This double album on Tidal covers both these styles of Roy Hargrove quite nicely. Give it a listen, if you haven't already.

That's a great mention for everyone watching this thread. The man has heavenly vocals. I often use his Real Good Hands from Be Good album as a test track to assess different gear.

One more. I don't know how a trumpet sounds like that, but it's pure silk. Some great live stuff and very special guest appearances as well (vocal and instrumental contributions)!
