When is the JADE II V2 coming?

As far as I know it is delayed for unspecified reason and even insiders are not sure when it is coming except it is soon

A $2500 price is very high, but considering all the insane prices for headphones recently, this is a steal, especially since it comes with a amp.

So? people here are happy to spend thousands, LCD4, EMPYREAN, Utopia. I think the problem is Hifimans reputation.

It's Hifiman, you know dem quality control and constant prototype products.... Jade II doesn't seem too finished to me...

The original Jade was 100% a DIY headphone! A headphone made with Chinese yellow glue, hammer, saw, nuts and bolts, plywood and a mesh. Glue everywhere, easy to dent the wood and squeaky sounds to every inch of it. LOL! Its funny and amazing. The cable is one of the craziest crap i ever i seen! Twisted and bent and molded into a lump every 2 inch. Its astounding that sound even produce from it.

The sound is close to a high level HD800. Best imaging, mircodetails and some sort of euphoria to it? Maybe its the wood or something that makes it go beyond a HD800.

Overall, this is what makes the old fragile, crackle , arthritis demon shine from the rest of the group.

The JADE 2 will be nothing like the JADE 1. From built to cable to even sound.
