Hello.

I'm not very experienced in high-end music devices and those things, so please, be kind if my question is stupid. But I can hear and appreciate the difference between these headphones and good earphones like Sony EX650AP.

I'd like to ask if it's normal that while I'm listening to some song and there's a part with a low longer bass, the vocals are suppressed into the background. I would say it's around 20% (that's how I hear it) during that low longer bass which goes throughout this song: .
Another example is this song, the bass starts at 0:17
.
Here, the vocals are suppressed by at least 40% and that's really bad.

I listen to music on my phone (Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 if it matters), using Viper4Android sound mod if you know it, with no amplifier or something.

My equaliser and sound mod settings greatly improve the sound realness, they are set to my liking and that's as much realistic vocals as they can be, but also with a decent bass which you can feel bumping, but it's in a balance with vocals.

Do I need some good music player like Fiio, an amplifier, or something else?

I hope someone can tell me what is wrong or what I'm doing wrong. Thank you.
