Is there a portable version of the HD650?

Well, I already know what sound signature I like. And I don't want to get bitten by the upgrade bug. I'm not wrong to assume or expect that a more expensive product is going to be better, right? I doubt Porta Pros or PX100s will sound more similar in all aspects to the HD650 than a more expensive pair of 'phones.

Just to put things in perspective, I would pick either PortaPros or PX100s over Senheissers HD595 (I own all three and HD650) - the HD595 is merely one step below the former flagship in Sens hierarchy - yet I prefer both portables, because their small cups have less cavity resonance than the HD595.

If they have the same sound signature how are they inferior? If they sound the same (well they dont) they sound the same

Hmm? I thought sound signature only meant the "flavor" of the sound, like emphasized bass, forward mids, recessed highs. And things like definition, extension, soundstage imaging, etc were the technical aspects?
