I don't notice it either. By the way, I think the latest build of rockbox is pretty good. Did they update much from a year or 2 ago? I use the dither and it sounds VG.

What is dither? I believe I'm using the most current verzion.

It's an option in the sound settings. Subtle change that adds a controlled noise near your hearing threshold. Can help bits in digital or your ears in a an analog environment better track low level info. Don't know how it's implemented in Rockbox and I slightly prefer it but I suspect most wont notice.

I've heard it before. I think it's something to do with the SD Card.
