You'll risk burning out the microwave emitter.

Bad idea!
Looking at all those sparks I can't imagine that its healthy for the microwave.

Come on guys, do you really think they give a **** about burning up the microwave?

I seriously doubt they plan on cooking hot pockets in that thing anytime soon.

I thought the tube illumination prior to meltdown was actually pretty cool, but that's just me. I'm a bit of a mad scientist at heart.

The worst part is when they recommended people microwave them at home. At the very least they should have put the tubes in a glass jar filled with saline solution.
I shudder at the number of people who might waste tubes this way...
OT: am I the only one who dislikes the way americans say "tube"?

You've obviously never microwaved an egg, have you?

For the record, it's also a bad idea to put unopened cans of soup into an oven.

Some of us learned these lessons the hard way. Usually in college, while really drunk.

I could barely stand watching those "el doucharinos" sans audio (sorry not going to bypass what I'm listening to right now), but the light show was interesting. It kind of reminded me of when I saw Clapton, and his tubes did the same thing without a microwave!

Is there another way to say it? I say "toob" - you must mean a pronunciation with emphasis on the "u": "tewub". I don't care, the important thing is that I have tubes...
