I love this sentence as it makes so little sense.

Congrats on the Touch. I'm really liking mine as well.

If you cannot see how the Touch may be attractive to some people, maybe you are not looking close enough or just don't personally care about many of the following.

Aesthetics - It looks distinctive and classy.

User interface - It's unique and intuitive.

Ease of use - You hardly need to read the manual.

Size - It fits in the pocket well because of the slimness.

Ergonomics - The larger size is good for larger hands. The new nano is just uncomfortably small for me.

Responsiveness - It's touch feedback is really fast. I think the classic and 3g nano are not very good in this regard.

Wifi / Safari - Easily the best mobile web browser.

Photo app - Very impressive app. It's butter smooth and will wow. This lone app is why I bought this unit.

Here in Japan they have been on order for a few weeks now. Even Apple Store JP gives a 7-10 day waiting list.

I think people want an iPhone without the Phone. Remember we won't get them here in Asia until 2008, so untill then they are the only way we can 'touch' our music.

To the poster who thought that touch had been done long ago.

It's the interface! Without the interface there is no point.

Go and watch the Keynote demo, then go to an Apple Store and try one out, it's like magic.

PS sorry to be such a fan boy.

Unfortunately, they don't run on MP3 players.

The #1 thing that makes the iphone and itouch touch screen interface not just a rehash of everyone else's touch screen: multitouch. It's easy to dismiss it until you use it.

Archos 604 Wi-Fi runs a version of mobile Opera as it's web-browser.

Of course. It's going to be more bulky than the touch, but I've yet to find an MP3 player that doesn't easily fit. It's kind of like when the Zune came out and everyone was saying they couldn't fit that in their pockets. The must have pockets just big enough to fit one key if they can't fit it.

I would buy one because it has wifi support with wireless downloads, web browsing and youtube, along with a nice interface.

I wouldn't buy one because its big, wifi support is only barely useful in a few places, I don't use the iTMS, and my phone already has web browsing and youtube.

I guess what I really want is an iPhone.
