Introduction about HS2 headphone signal switcher.

This exceptionally affordable device only switches between inputs.

You'll still have to do volume matching the same as you would if you didn't have a handy little switch box.

I use a free iPhone app SPL meter by JL Audio, in combination with a lapel mic that I place between the ear pads while the headphones are resting on the desktop, undisturbed.  I play a white noise WAV file first through one chain, adjusting the volume to 85.0 dB, then through the other chain, again adjusting the volume to 85.0 dB.

Leaving the volume control(s) where it (they) need to be for each chain, I'm ready to make comparisons - with the headphones on my head.

Received mine today.  I paid on May 5, so it took just 10 days flat from payment to delivery here in the US.  That's amazing considering that postage is included in the $20 price.

Initial impressions are excellent.  The entire housing is aluminum (all six sides).  For the paltry price I fully expected it to be in a plastic housing.  It came with three short 1/8" to 1/8" cables, all packed neatly in a tin box/canister, which will actually be useful for storage.

I haven't even plugged it in yet and I'm already impressed.

My HS2 arrived today. Very impressed! A nice, sturdy little unit. Comes with 4 cables and a storage tin. Considering the price and shipping included, this is unbeatable. It's like a gift from Fiio! Thanks James (and Sunny)!

This is a nice little something from Fiio to keep me busy until the X3 is available in the U.S.!

any estimate on when the retailers will have HS2 for sale?
Also, is it compatible with TRRS connectors?

It depend on our customers, but they are not interesting to sell this because the market demand is very poor. and it is compatible with TRRS connectors.

Also we are not going to make money from this little toy, we make it just because we need it, and share with our fans.

Sure if you have paypal a/c and send $20 to pay@fiio.com.cn

That's great. Since this is kind of a local purchase, can I pay it in HK$ currency?
