"Welcome to Head-Fi! Sorry about your wallet!"

It is always awesome to see new users to head-Fi make an account with past audio experience because of good experiences in headphone audio with a company!

HS2 was discontinued for sale is what FiiO last said as it wasn't a retail product.

This thread is kinda dead as it is a bit old and out of the way, but please feel free to use the regular forums to let more people see your opinion.

Again, welcome!

I cant believe it! I think this is the first time I actually have some news to write! Normally, I let the experts guide me through my questions cause someones already asked it (does that make make me a community leach? Haha Hope Not). Anyways, I just got one! Brand NEW! It was a little more than I ready at $20.00, but not by much. I thought it was too good to be true, the page listing still didnt even have the actual photos up, so I called and talked to a sales guy, he said it just came in. The distributor randomly found a case of them in their warehouse, so they bought them up. But, the guy said they only had 12 left. So I bought it, and got it today! It is EVERYTHING I hoped it would be! Actually built well for relatively inexpensive price. and heres a suggestion, the sales guy knocked off a couple bucks when I called!

I dont know how these work about putting peoples or specific retailers links in here. is that not allowed?

Absolutely, it's done all the time and to the best of my knowledge, perfectly OK with our hosts.

Please post the link.  :-)

Is it any of these?

None of these retailers are in the U.S., but they all show it "In Stock."

Spin it around and test up to 4 headphones without changing cables. Just plug your headphones into the rear jacks and your amp OUT into the HS2 front jack. When using 1/4" headphone plugs, you will need 1/8" to 1/4" adapters and may only be able to fit 2 or 3 into the rear jacks without causing too much strain on the jacks and adapters.

It works great and hear no degradation in sound quality.

The Fiio HS2 is no longer available for reasonable prices. Online prices range from $50 to $150!

Here's a possible alternative...

Go to:

dx <dot> com

Copy and Paste into the web site search window:  LINE5 A985 3.5mm Headphone Output Switcher

This is very similar to FiiO HS2 and has 4 IN and 4 OUT jacks. I bought 4 for $22 each with free shipping. Buy 1 for $25 and free shipping. Buy 3 or more for $22 with discount code:  BULKRATE

Line5 A985 comes with four 3.5 to 3.5 mm cables.
You will need 6.3 to 3.5  mm adapters to use 6.3 mm headphone plugs.
You will need a 3.5 to 6.3 mm cable to connect to 6.3 mm TRS source.
These are available at Amazon and other vendors.

I make no claims about the seller's reputation and customer service. If I receive 4 as ordered, I will post about their performance.

Cheers,

BMF
