Hi all,

The xDuoo MH-02 DAC & Tube Headphone Amplifier just dropped, and we can’t wait to tell you about it. This hybrid amp mixes the warm fuzzies of tube sound with the crisp detail of a Class-A transistor buffer. It decodes high-res audio up to PCM 32-bit/384kHz, DSD256, and MQA 32-bit/384kHz. With 1300mW of output power and a gain switch, it can handle any headphone you throw at it. Plus, it’s got a sleek, sandblasted shell that doesn’t need to stand out to look good.

Product highlights
  • USB DAC support up to PCM 32-bit/384kHz and DSD256
  • Hybrid amplification with double 6J1 tubes and Class-A transistor buffer
  • Strong output power (1300mW) for a wide range of headphones
  • Gain switch for high and low gain settings
  • Line out for use as a pre-amplifier
  • High-grade Japanese ELNA and Rubycon capacitors
  • Built-in protection circuit to avoid POP noise
  • Sleek, sandblasted textured shell

This looks great, and wish it came out a few months ago when I got the MT-602 and TA-22. I would've went for this over the MT-602.

Any news on TA-66 shipments? I oredered one a month ago from Apos, but the date was pushed back twice and wonder if affects my order or just new orders.

Hi there,

We're glad you like xDuoo tube amps. Regarding the TA-66 shipments, they are being pushed back a few days due to the factory being backed by orders. Can you message us your order ID number so we can look into this for you?

@Apos Audio
I can't find any listing on your page that describes what the front jacks are, and they don't appear to be labeled. Can you clarify?
Found the info here. 3.5mm, 4.4mm and 6.35mm. I had to google it myself, shouldn't have had to. It's not in any retailers' descriptions either.

Have been using mine for about a week and it is surprisingly good, just like my MT-604. The stock tubes sound good, but seem to invite far too much noise. Switched to my Voskhod Rockets and it sounds so much cleaner. Haven't tried the DAC, yet, but I guess I need to just to confirm it sucks. LoL I have a Geshelli DAC, so no need for it. I feel like the MT-604 has more air and stage. The MH-02 seems to have better bass extention. Still working on the rest.

Okay, I retract my previous a bit. I think most of the noise was infiltrating my DAC. So, I got an ifi iPower 12v transformer and it sounds nice and clear now! Beautiful! I can't believe how it sounds compared to the MT-604 now. More detail, amazing imaging and stage. How did they do this? How is this tiny box able to do this? I decided to use the MH-02 as a pre-amp into my Rupert Neve RNHP amp and it is easily the best synergy I've heard with the RNHP. Mind you, I'm using Jan 5654W tubes. In the MT-604, these tubes are a bit muddy warm. But in the MH-02, they are a different monster. Clean, clear, warm, dynamic, and airy at the same time. And the RNHP elevates it even further.
