Yes, but it's only available through USB Input, at least that's what infographic is saying.

That is disappointing, at that point you can just use your pc. I don't really see a use for that save maybe a dap/phone from usbc.

Yes that's right, kinda pointless.
But on the other hand maybe they meant that setting up of the EQ can be done only through USB and provided software?

It can still be useful if you're using a streamer with USB output.

Interesting, because this doesn't exist yet on the Topping website... Only D50s.
Wonder if this one has replaceable OP-AMP in the buffer.

They have the user manual online, but there’s precious little about the PEQ feature other than a reference to “Topping Tune” which may be software to design the filters, and it does say they can be used offline once downloaded to the DAC.

How Topping implements this could make it either a frustrating also-ran product or be the killer app for this unit that makes it a must-have for a lot of people.

Being able to get the PEQ functionality (actually with more bands) of the RME ADI-2 DAC at a much lower price point will be very appealing.

Qudelix has done that to a degree, but frustratingly has only released mobile-oriented products. If they’d put their software in a true desktop balanced DAC setup they’d also have the potential to really disrupt the market.

As I'm in China, I've just been looking at this and the D50 III on Jing Dong. Would I be right in guessing that the A50 III only functions as a headphone amp?

I have my laptop connected to my D50s, which is then connected through the RCA ports to my A50s, which is then connected to my desktop speakers. The A50 III has balanced or single-ended inputs only.

I was interested when I saw this, but now less so as I only occasionally use the A50s as a headphone amp. The D50 III might, on the other hand, be of some interest.

Based on NYC CanJam, the new 90 series launch will be in Q2 and the new 900 series will launch in Q3-4.
