Introducing the T10i, an all new IEM from RHA

These sound interesting. If I didn't already just buy the Rockets these may have caught my fancy.

I sold my Rockets in part because I felt my MA750i's were better, so if the T10i's are a step up on the MA750i's they're going to be one heck of a bargain at the asking price.

given how good the 750 was it will surely be an interesting IEM and if the build quality is the same and it does in pics, it ought to be a hell of an appealing product.

hopefully should be getting one in for review, fingers crossed.

looking for impressions for sure .

Whilst I'm definitely amongst those looking forward to the release of these, I'm surprised no-one's mentioned the other interesting part of the press release - "It takes some of the pioneering technologies, materials and engineering processes we developed for use with our forthcoming range of specialist, high impedance IEMs"... Seems RHA have been very busy & are set to wow all areas of the iem world.

Nice catch! That's what I've really been interested in hearing from them ever since I got the MA750i's.

Wow the 750 is that good? I've been keeping up on the Rocket thread and it's obviously getting serious praise, so your comment there really resonates. I will definitely pick up a pair of the 750, and also be trying the T10 once released.

I always take such comments at face value because most of this hobby is personal preference. I've not yet tried the MA750 (but that decision was based on reviews and determining they weren't what I was looking for at least at the time), but I may or may not give the T10 a go. I'll see what initial reviews are like probably.

Whether you or anyone else thinks the 750i's are that good is going to come down to personal preference. The sound of the 750i's just resonates with me, I'd probably take it over any sub $500 IEM I've heard to date. That's why I'm so excited about the T10i's not to mention potentially higher end stuff coming down the line from RHA. Personally, I thought the Rockets were decent but much preferred the more solid foundation and larger stage provided by the 750i's.

Yes, honestly the soundstage is the biggest weakness of the Rockets. That isn't to say it has a poor soundstage, in fact considering it is a fully closed design with a dynamic driver, it's soundstage is rather impressive. However, there are many other IEMs that far surpass the Rockets in that regard. On that thought though, not many IEMs image better than the Rockets or layer quite as well, at or even above the pricepoint. Where the Rockets lack in soundstage they make up for it in how they image and layer. I disagree with the solid foundation though. The Rockets have a very solid foundation, however depending on your preferences it may not be the foundation you are looking for. There are two things that would make the Rockets better imho, a bigger soundstage and a slight raise in subbass (just to bring it more in line with the midbass. Surprisingly it is already pretty linear, it stops being so at around 30-40Hz.

That said, changable filters always intrigued me. I'll be keeping an eye on the T10s only for that reason if none other. That and RHA has been known to punch above pricepoint and have phenomenal build quality (not that I know from experience but it is rare to hear a review for the 750s that don't talk about the superior build especially at the price).

Yes, the build quality of the 750i's is outstanding, that's another area I preferred it to the Rockets.

We have indeed been quite busy recently. Stay tuned.
