@Questyle
Hello! I'm looking to upgrade to a higher-power ESS dongle with BAL-out, and the M15 is the most promising so far on the amplification side, but on the BAL-out side what matters to me is the channel separation and I can't find a crosstalk spec for the M15 (or 15i) anywhere on the web. Do you have an estimate of how much crosstalk it produces with a 32-ohm load?

"Explanation on the Differences in Sound Quality among ddHiFi TC05 M2 / TC07 / TC09 Series Cables"Nope, a usb cable either works or doesn’t work - the explanation of the sound quality improvements in your post # 902 above by the reviewer are nothing but a word salad and utterly meaningless. By all means buy the cable as it does look well made and very nice but it will not and can not bring an audio improvement, this has been established time and time again yet we are still applying mythical thinking to what is an electrical current passing from one device to another - it works or it doesn’t work, that is all there is to consider from an electrical/electronic engineering perspective

I. Why Do USB Decoding Data Cables Affect Sound Quality?
For front-end audio decoding devices, especially the USB dongles and decoding amplifiers without batteries, there is a power-on sequence for the operation of USB identification, audio bridge chips, as well as the DAC, which involves different voltages and currents.
If the output from the mobile phone end is extremely stable and abundant, it could be assumed that USB cables would have little impact on the subsequent devices. However, this is not possible. Not to mention that the OTG output judgment voltages of...

Whatever. If it can't be measured and demonstrated to make an audible difference it doesn't matter. Seek science, not marketing speak from people who want to sell you something."Explanation on the Differences in Sound Quality among ddHiFi TC05 M2 / TC07 / TC09 Series Cables"

Has anyone had issues with their M15 v1.0? It’s now showing up as “ESS USB Audio” on windows, Mac and iPhone, and doesn’t play any audio. The gain LED is showing blue and green, and the other light is off.

Pretty Shocked to realise that the M15 can drive my Arya V2... never thought to pair them until yesterday. Pleasantly surprised.

Yeah, it seems to love planars - my HE-400i has never had such sub-bass punch out of any source, even multi-Watt claiming ones like the iFi Micro iDSD.Pretty Shocked to realise that the M15 can drive my Arya V2... never thought to pair them until yesterday. Pleasantly surprised.

Plug it into a laptop usb with 3.1A instead of a phones 500mA and see what happens; I ran my HE500 that way no issues.Pretty Shocked to realise that the M15 can drive my Arya V2... never thought to pair them until yesterday. Pleasantly surprised.
